Nedim Bajrami dubbed a ‘different class’ after what he did for Rangers v Dundee

Nedim Bajrami’s move to set up Rangers’ first goal in their 3-0 victory over Dundee at Ibrox on Saturday earned him the moniker “different class” from Rory Loy.

In their first game back at Ibrox this season, Philippe Clement’s team easily defeated the Dark Blues to secure their place in the Premier Sports Cup semi-finals.

The players demonstrated that they still possess the ability to destroy opposing teams as the Gers dominated the match from the very beginning.

Speaking live on BBC Sportsound on September 21, at 5:50, former Gers attacker Loy praised midfielder Bajrami for gliding past Oluwaseun Adewumi of Dundee.

According to Loy, “the movement from Bajrami was a different class.”

“I just talked to you a few minutes ago about Adewumi and the work he needs to do. He gave it everything he had to try to come back, but he kind of shut down and let Bajrami get the better of him.”

Later in the match, the Albanian international managed to set up Dessers’ second goal of the tie and was praised for his assist to the Nigerian international, proving that he was clearly the star of the show.

Murray stated on BBC Sportsound, “What a fantastic ball that is, so quick as well,” on September 21, at 6:58.

“Carson completed a fantastic finish with his right foot, and the defenders have no time to collect themselves.”

Rangers signed Nedim Bajrami, and it was a great move.

During the summer transfer window, Rangers made the marquee signing of attacking-midfielder Bajrami for £3.3 million [Gianluca Di Marzio, 30 August].

Clement was looking to improve his attacking ranks, and he spent the entire window searching for a number 10.

Even though he probably didn’t anticipate Tom Lawrence having as successful a season as he has had so far, Bajrami has now established himself, begun to develop, and made an effort to challenge Tom Lawrence for the starting position.

The Albanian international’s performances at Euro 2024 made it clear that he was a very talented player who would significantly strengthen the Gers squad.

The future of Clement’s employment has been under increasing pressure in recent weeks [Chris Jack, September 16], but if they can continue this winning streak, they may get as high as number 56.

Even though there is still a lot of time left in the season for things to alter, the club will only get stronger as more of Clement’s recent additions integrate into the starting lineup.
