Leicester City keen to sign £79k-a-week gem, he could leave current club in January

Plans for Leicester City’s January 2025 transfer window have already started.

In the most recent transfer window, Leicester City brought nine players to the King Power Stadium.

The majority of those players have excelled since moving to the Midlands, and Facundo Buonanotte’s incredible transfer value has now been made public following his stellar early 2024–2025 campaign.

Jordan Ayew has been “so key” for Leicester this season, despite early doubts about his transfer from Crystal Palace.

Meanwhile, the Foxes appear to be planning to bring in more reinforcements as the winter window draws nearer.

After missing out on Mostafa Mohamed during the previous transfer window, Leicester now has the opportunity to acquire the striker.

Given Archie Gray’s difficulties in north London, Leicester may try to sign him on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in an attempt to address their right-back problems.

Leicester City is interested in Mathys Tel, a Bayern Munich star.

This week, Mathys Tel, a new name, has been connected to a relocation to Leicester.

According to Capology, the 19-year-old is currently making £79k a week in Germany after joining current club Bayern Munich from Ligue 1 team Stade Rennais in 2022.

But with only 112 minutes of Bundesliga involvement in four games so far in 2024–2025, the teenager is having trouble finding minutes.

Leicester is one of four Premier League teams reportedly interested in the winger, according to Caught Offside.

To get more first-team action, Tel is anticipated to be made available for loan during the next transfer window.

Bayern’s position on a permanent sale is unambiguous; the German team maintains that only a loan transfer would be approved.
