‘Absolutely Awful’ – David Edgar left raging after what happened in Rangers v Hearts

Rangers’ terrible second-half performance against Hearts at Ibrox on Sunday left David Edgar furious.

Cryiel Dessers gave the Gers the lead early on, and it was plenty as they triumphed 1-0 on November 10.

Nevertheless, following a lacklustre second-half performance, they found it difficult to cross the finish line, but they eventually succeeded.

Edgar, the host of the Heart and Hand podcast, stated via X: “It feels like a goal is approaching.” Rangers had a terrible second half.

Despite their lacklustre performance, Rangers defeat Hearts to earn three points.

Despite winning and earning three points, the Gers’ performance was far from impressive, especially in the second half.

Dessers’s first goal gave the squad the advantage they needed, but their failure to hold onto the lead or retain control revealed serious problems.

A club in strong form should aim to establish control and win by a larger margin, displaying both offensive flare and defensive stability, rather than just clinging to a close victory against a team like Hearts.

This was far from remarkable, so Clement now has a clear goal to work on over the international break to improve the team’s consistency.

For Rangers to live up to the expectations of their fans and compete well in every competition, the team’s ability to control games from beginning to end must be improved.
