Ross County’s match against Rangers on Sunday is expected to proceed as planned despite concerns over Storm Darragh, according to Rangers News.
The outlet reported that, as of December 6, there are no indications the game at Victoria Park in Dingwall will be postponed.
Storm Darragh, which began affecting the UK on Saturday, has caused significant disruptions across parts of Wales and the west coast of England. However, the Dingwall area has not been subject to severe weather warnings, with forecasts suggesting the storm’s strongest impact will diminish by Saturday morning.
“Rangers News understands that the Premiership clash in Dingwall is not currently under threat. While weather conditions can be unpredictable, there are no plans for a postponement at this time,” the report noted.
The absence of amber or red warnings for the Highlands, combined with the logistical difficulties of rescheduling, indicates that officials are optimistic the match will proceed as planned barring any unexpected changes.
Rangers will be eager to play the fixture and build on their dominant 6-0 victory over Kilmarnock, aiming to secure another crucial three points in their league campaign.
