Union Bears savage Rangers board and players in raging statement as fan group claim sacking Clement is not enough

The well-known fan club has spoken out and called for complete overhaul.

The Union Bears said that while it is important, it is “not enough” to sacrifice Philippe Clement.

After the Light Blues fell 15 points behind Celtic in the Premiership standings, a greater margin than before a 3-0 victory over their opponents two weeks earlier, the Rangers fan club launched a vicious attack on the Ibrox board. Ahead of Sunday’s home match against St Johnstone, the irate ultras have now publicly criticised the club’s management and current playing roster.

It said: “Incompetence and a board that no longer respects the supporters who created this legacy are destroying our club.” Now is the moment to take action. The club’s owners and the board have been exploiting management teams’ shortcomings as a cover for their own lack of leadership, vision, and regard for us for years. We can no longer tolerate it.

“Some accountability must also be placed on the playing team, especially the senior players. Despite continuously failing to live up to the expectations that come with donning the Rangers uniform, they appear destined to fire yet another manager. The shortcomings we observe in the boardroom are reflected in their lack of accountability on the pitch.

“Philip Clement’s termination is required, but it is insufficient. The underlying problem—a board that has fallen short of our club’s ideals, ambition, and pride—remains. They have disrespected the assistance, wasted opportunities, and mishandled resources.

“The Rangers supporters’ devotion shouldn’t be interpreted as an excuse for poor performance. Since we are the club’s lifeblood, we cannot watch helplessly as the board ruins its reputation. Excuses are no longer an option. It’s time for Rangers-worthy leadership, accountability, and openness. The Rangers supporters need to get together and demand change this weekend. Union Bears, No Capitulation.
