‘He must be leaving’ – Darrell Currie thinks Rangers star is quitting Ibrox after incident
Rangers forward Vaclav Cerny is under scrutiny following an incident during the recent Old Firm Derby, where he celebrated Hamza Igamane’s late winner by spraying water at Celtic fans. This act has led to a Police Scotland investigation and the possibility of an eight-game ban from the Scottish FA, which would end his Premiership season.
In light of these developments, TV presenter Darrell Currie speculated about Cerny’s future at Ibrox, stating, “As soon as I saw him do it, I thought he must be leaving. He’s getting out the city, he must be away at the end of the season.”
Cerny, currently on loan from Wolfsburg, has been a key player for Rangers this season, with 17 goals and seven assists in 44 appearances. Despite his contributions, the recent incident has cast doubt on his continued tenure at the club.
