Celtic Have “Incredible Business” Hailed After Tuesday Night Cameo

Kieran Tierney gave Celtic fans a brilliant reminder of just how good a move it is to get the player back to the club in the summer

He made a sharp cameo in Arsenal’s commanding 3-0 win over Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final first leg.

The Scotland international made a late appearance in a midfield position as Arsenal secured a significant victory at the Emirates. With the second leg in Spain upcoming, Arsenal is well-positioned to advance to the semi-finals, and Tierney could potentially end the season with a Champions League winner’s medal.

Pundit Tam McManus took to social media after the match to praise Celtic for their impressive acquisition. He noted, “Kieran Tierney came on for Arsenal and looked fit and sharp. He could win the Champions League this season, so it’s truly remarkable business for Celtic to sign him this summer,” he posted on X.

Celtic acted quickly to bring Tierney back to the club on a pre-contract agreement, and his return is seen as a significant boost for Brendan Rodgers’ plans for the next season, especially with Greg Taylor likely leaving. Having spent recent years in the Premier League and La Liga, Tierney has gained valuable experience that could be crucial both in Europe and domestically.

If he returns to Glasgow as a European champion, it would add an exciting dimension to his already highly anticipated homecoming as a former Celtic youth player.
