A fan passed away at Suncorp Stadium just before the Broncos’ June 7 game against the Gold Coast Titans, leaving the team in sadness. As halfback Adam Reynolds got ready to run out for his 300th NRL game, Brisbane manager Dave Donaghy announced a club supporter had a heart attack in the stands.
Sadly, the individual was unable to be revived despite the fact that Suncorp Stadium management and the Broncos provide on-site paramedics for all home games. The Broncos will give a jersey to be placed on the man’s coffin after his family told the club about the news. “That was really depressing,” Donaghy told News Corp. “The family is currently in our thoughts, and we will undoubtedly do everything in our power to help them through this trying time.”

The Broncos are in grief following the death of a supporter at Suncorp Stadium just prior to their June 7 game against the Gold Coast Titans (halfback Adam Reynolds in his historic game).
‘The first responders on the night were fantastic, I couldn’t image the job they had to do in difficult conditions,’ said Brisbane manager Dave Donaghy, who also said the incident was ‘horribly sad’ and that the club will contribute a shirt to be laid on the man’s coffin. After the contentious pivot was included in the Queensland Origin squad, Broncos player Pat Carrigan has defended colleague Ezra Mam.

After a head-on collision with an Uber in October, Mam pleaded guilty to driving with drugs in his system and without a licence, and he recently returned to the NRL after serving a nine-game suspension. Many football supporters believed Mam ought to have received harsher punishment. “Look,” Carrigan remarked, “he had to take responsibility for his well-publicized error.” We are aware of what transpired, but Ezra has improved himself to a satisfactory degree and is still doing so. For him, Origin Camp is a terrific chance because it exposes him to these kinds of settings and teaches him how people like Tommy Dearden and Cameron Munster prepare and approach situations.

The Broncos will benefit from those experiences as well. Outside of it, Ezra has put in a lot of effort, so it’s good to see him receiving recognition.
