RANGERS MAKE VACLAV CERNY ANNOUNCEMENT
Ahead of the November international break, Vaclav Cerny, a winger for Rangers, has been called up to the Czechia squad.
Since signing on loan from Wolfsburg in the summer, the 27-year-old has been a fantastic addition to Philippe Clement’s team and may soon be adding to his total of 20 international caps.
With Czechia scheduled to play Albania and Georgia in two UEFA Nations League matches, the Light Blues verified the story via a repost on their official X account [8 November].
Vaclav Cerny’s Rangers achievements win him a call-up to the Czech Republic. During this next two-week break, Clement will undoubtedly be waiting with clenched fingers as the in-form winger departs on international duty, but he deserves it.
With Tom Lawrence out for four to six months with his last update, the manager cannot afford any further injuries, and a hit to Cerny would be even worse.
After utterly stagnating during his first season at Wolfsburg, the winger has rekindled his career by recording six goals and five assists across all competitions since moving to Ibrox.
Fans are cautioned not to fall in love with him, but they do just that, and they are devastated when the team doesn’t make the move permanent at the end of the season. He is undoubtedly one of those players.
Abdallah Sima, who was a huge breath of new air in Scotland, is currently enjoying the good life with Brest in the Champions League. The same thing happened with him.
After overcoming some early setbacks to start playing well under Clement, Cerny has proven his ability on the right wing, and supporters will be eager to see him maintain that form while playing for his country.
Fans will be closely watching him till he is back in Scotland following the international break, but of course, the most important thing is that he returns to Ibrox unscathed.
