Celtic has to wrap up their own transfer business before the deadline on Monday night.
With Kelechi Iheanacho a loan target for Brendan Rodgers’ team, a striker is the top priority.
The best way to replace Kyogo with a goal scorer who has established himself in the Premier League and beyond would be to offer the Sevilla forward a loan with a buyout option in the future.
Celtic made a bid for Sondre Orjasaeter as well, however we at 67 Hail Hail informed you beforehand that the offer was turned down.
There is still time to close more deals, and more deals will need to be made.
Stuart Armstrong relocates to Sheffield Wednesday.
However, it’s always pleasant to see the decent men being promoted after leaving the Hoops, and this week was no exception.
After joining Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough, Stuart Armstrong was added to the matchday squad and placed on the bench for their English Championship matchup against Luton Town.
Before leaving for Southampton in 2018 for almost £7 million, the 32-year-old had a great experience at Parkhead. He later played with Ryan Gauld’s Vancouver Whitecaps before returning to England.
It was good for the team to be recognised as a major force, even though the Owls’ official announcement referred to the Celtics as “Scottish Premiership giants,” which is an understatement.
Celtic are called “giants” by Sheffield Wednesday.
Stuart Armstrong, a highly experienced international player from Major League Soccer’s Vancouver Whitecaps, has joined the Owls, according to their Armstrong post.
The midfield player brings exceptional experience and expertise to Hillsborough, enhancing Danny Rohl’s engine room options.
“Armstrong has earned 51 caps for Scotland and made almost 400 appearances at home, scoring 63 goals.
The 32-year-old began his career with Dundee United in 2010 and eventually made 150 appearances for the Tannadice team.
“In 2015, he moved to the SPL (sic) powerhouse Celtic for three trophy-filled years with the Bhoys, winning three league crowns and consecutive trebles.
After that, Armstrong moved south of the border to accept a reported £7 million contract with Southampton, where he played 222 games.
“His next chapter begins back on these shores in S6 after a brief stint in Vancouver in September of last year and the end of the MLS season.”
