Leicester City are reeling from yet another defeat, this time against West Ham United.
Foxes fans may find some relief in the fact that their club won’t be playing this weekend. After being eliminated from the FA Cup by Manchester United in February, Leicester’s absence from the competition spares supporters from another frustrating loss.
With 11 defeats in their last 12 matches, frustration among the fanbase has reached new heights. Here’s the latest from the King Power Stadium on Saturday, March 1st.

Leicester Fans Lose Patience with Ruud van Nistelrooy
Leicester’s 2-0 loss to West Ham didn’t just extend their dismal run—it further exposed their glaring weaknesses. Their pressing was ineffective, they lacked any attacking threat, and their defense was once again in shambles.
During and after the match, fans voiced their frustration with Van Nistelrooy, with many demanding his dismissal. One supporter summed up the sentiment, posting: “Ruud sacked by the time my train arrives, please.”
Tomas Soucek’s Classy Tribute to Leicester’s Late Owner
West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek, who opened the scoring on Friday, is known for his trademark spinning helicopter celebration. However, out of respect for former Leicester owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, he chose not to celebrate in his usual manner.
“I didn’t think my normal helicopter celebration was the right thing to do because of what happened to the Leicester owner,” Soucek explained. “I wanted to show respect to our opponents.”
