Thomas Frank pushed forward for national team job – Brentford manager is choice of experts

Thomas Frank, the manager of Brentford, has been recommended for a position on the national squad by a group of specialists.

Today, Jyllands Posten discusses that and how experts concur that the Brentford manager need to take over as Denmark’s next leader.

The nation is currently searching for a new manager as Kasper Hjulmand resigned after a lacklustre showing at the European Championship.

It has been decided that the manager “must focus on the game on the pitch” and that he or she must be Danish. And Frank is far ahead of the others in both categories.

For Flemming Povlsen, the winner of Euro 92 and current Disney+ football expert, it is undoubtedly the case.

“Thomas Frank is my preference. He is an expert at the game,” he remarked.

“To be approved by the players, the crowd, and the media, a new coach must pass a rigorous screening process, which Thomas Frank breezes past.

“The Danish national team has arguably more expectations than Brentford, but he has overcome significant obstacles to play for a tiny club in a major league. His work is highly respected by all.

Frank’s resume has grown significantly throughout his time in England since he took over as Brentford’s manager in October 2018.

Since then, he has firmly established them in the top division, guided them to the Premier League, and continued the club’s tradition of producing players.

Peter Grauland feels that the fact that he has gotten a lot of recognition for his efforts may have an impact on things, especially in terms of the money at stake.

He went on, “The question is whether it is now for Thomas Frank.”

The fact that the wages in the clubs are significantly higher suggests that the economy is likely a factor. Furthermore, national coaches have distinct responsibilities than club coaches.

“Thereafter, you have to work during a few busy times every day as a national coach. It all comes down to ambition, and it could be absurd to argue that coaching a national team is less ambitious than coaching a club overseas.
