Season ticket holders and Hibs First members have till the morning to reserve spots.
Away supporters WILL be permitted entry into Ibrox for Hibs’ match against Rangers on Sunday, the Scottish Premiership team has confirmed. However, fans will need to act quickly to get a seat in Govan. After Rangers announced that the Copland Road stand renovations were finished, the Easter Road club issued a statement.
Less than 72 hours before kickoff, the news enabled Hibs to begin ticket sales for the 932 games today at 5 p.m. And it put a stop to a clumsy mess that had left gamblers hanging.
Hibs Tonight at 8 p.m., the first members can claim their positions in the corner stand. Season ticket holders will be able to purchase tickets starting at 8:00 p.m. And tomorrow at 10 a.m., all remaining tickets will go on sale to the public.
Prior to the last-minute decision, Hibs manager David Grey stated that he understood why supporters were upset about the postponements and uncertainty surrounding their ability to attend the match, adding, “From the fans’ point of view, I fully understand it would be really frustrating and difficult.” In a perfect world, the fans would like to be informed as soon as possible so they can make plans and know exactly what is going on. However, I’m sure that everyone is making every effort to make it happen.
Scottish football relies heavily on its fan base. They, in my opinion, play a major role in why it’s such a passionate and amazing show.
They all enthusiastically support their teams, and I believe they need to be given the chance to do so. We have a fantastic opportunity to visit them and hopefully send them happily back down the M8. It’s a challenging game at a challenging location, but having them there really enhances the mood, which is fantastic.
